Michele McMurry founded McMurry Communications in 2009 to provide copywriting services to businesses, publications and anyone with a story to tell. In 2020, with husband Doug McMurry, she launched a food blog called Kitchen Traveler, through which the couple travelled the world via their home kitchen, documenting their dishes and experiences along the way. Doug joined the firm in 2022, and together, the two co-authored "100 Years of Building San Antonio: The People Who Built the Seventh Largest City in the USA, 1923-2023," which tells San Antonio's story through its unique buildings and the people who made them happen. Most recently, Michele debuted her first stage work, a one-act farce called The Cooking Class, with Doug as illustrator.
